Raw spots

Zeus has some raw pink spots on his nose. We don't really know how he got them but have applied some tea tree oil for him. It's been a few days and they haven't gone away. He seems okay though, his normal self.

Bicycle Blast

Nothing special this weekend, we were considering building sandcastles at CastleBeach, but since L wanted to go cycling, off we went to Pasir Ris park. It was a fine day for cycling. In fact, it was Zeus's first time in a bike. We had a hard time stuffing him in the basket, since he's so fat. But he managed to 'sit' in the basket after some attempts.

Goodness, Zeus is a startling 9kg now, at 8 months old. This bursts the average weight barrier for Zuchons, Shih Tzus and Bichon Frises.

BARF has arrived!

Mummy has finally taken the plunge and ordered two boxes of BARF patties from BARF SINGAPORE (Alfred). They are HUGE and neatly packed in boxes. She'll be trying them out on Zeus tomorrow, starting with pork.She did ask for a combination patty sample but Alfred appeared not to have taken note of that :/

Food for thought

These days, mummy has been cooking meals for Zeus. Nothing complex, just alternating between chicken, pork, eggs,  and carbohydrates like brown rice or potatoes. As a result, Zeus has to wait at least half an hour before the cooking is done. It frustrates him because he is often hungry, a lot more hungry than he used to be. Sometimes he wakes us up at 3am and leads mummy  to the kitchen. Mummy keeps thinking he needs to pee, he hasn't peed in his toilet for 4 weeks now. But then he stands at the food cupboard, and then mummy knows he wants food. She'll tell him it's too early and then go back to sleep.

Last Saturday, Zeus had such a long day that he was flat out tired by the time he got back. Firstly he had a grooming appointment with Pet Emporium in the morning. Mummy asked Sheryl to cut Zeus's fur very short because, firstly it's more cost effective, and secondly, he has been scratching his underbelly and shorter fur will allow more visibility of ticks and insects. Two ticks were found on him after the grooming session. One in his ear and the other on his tail.

Dog blogs in Singapore?

I have diarrhea :(

Mummy's been searching up dog blogs in Singapore. She's discovered there's no such thing as a Singapore dog blog directory listing, and Google doesn't yield much results. PetsChannel doesn't have such a bloggers' list (unless it's a blog shop). So where are all the doggy blogs? From the little information she managed to scavenge, most of the dog blogs are linked to each other exclusively. Very much like the personal blogs community, you publish the links of your friends (in this case, doggy friends) on your own blog.
