The newly renovated Sun Ray Cafe

It's hard to find a good pet cafe and the nearest to us was actually NEX, which we didn't really like because of the food and the parking.

Sun Ray at Brighton Crescent (along Serangoon Garden Way) was another option, but it used to be small and a little dark, although the food was good.

We were glad that it was renovated recently because the place is now much much better and bigger.

This whole section of the cafe is dog friendly, while another section, barred by a gate, is for people without pets.

The food is really good too. I love the Eggs Benedict with its sweet crumbly and crusty bread, and smoked salmon! Really good value at $10.90 too.

Really generous portions

They've also have a whole range of artisan coffees. Very nice.

Their outdoor seating has changed too. And there's plenty of it.

Look how happy Zeus is. Last week was his birthday week and we've been bringing him out and spoiling him lots. He has also gotten lots of toys from his auntie Jinny.

One thing great about this place is (unlike NEX) you can always bring your dog right outside to do his/her business immediately! The surroundings are a residential area with grass, houses and bushes, very convenient.

We've been seeing more dog owners bring their dogs so looks like this might be a good affordable chillout place to hang out with Zeus and Honey.
